I've been too busy with other things both in life and online to comment at all here.  Lets just say, if no bills existed I would have more time for things like this, as I would be much more free of sad entanglements.  But thanks to the decline in housing values, and the decline in employment status, I'm stuck with trying to pay bills with not enough money, and living with me monkeys who don't share my view of responsibility.  It doesn't help that I also have not after 2 years been able to trust a word they say to me.  All in all life continues, I play WoW to keep my mind off the soul crushing relationships in my life, and I work to try to make enough money to pay bills that are always more than my paychecks.  Ahhh life.   

Today is my 41st birthday.  That's right, I'm more than old now.  So while at work I'm listening to tunes on my Glyde, and what comes up in the shuffle for the first time ever?  Crash Test Dummies - At My Funeral.  How funny on a birthday of an advancing age person!  Then, the next song...  Five for Fighting - 100 years.

He never did see St. Rose.  He said there was too much to be done.  He had made a promise, and in keeping it, he traded one dream for another, with no regrets.   

I feel this way so many times a day that it's hard to believe. 

I push the button on her toy triceratops, we call Topps and it runs into the couch.  "nononono!!" Says Kali and she takes it to the time out chair.  I ask Kali, "Why did you put Topps in time out?"  Kali replies with great seriousness:

"He was eating the couch!"

So any other dinosaurs out there, if you eat the couch, you'll be in time out.

"Daddy, cookies are good for you!  They make your eyes sparkle!"  

Much laughter and high fiving ensued. 

I've been listening to a couple of songs lately that I like a lot. One of which I just got for Fathers Day on the James Taylor - One Man Band CD. It's an old song though, and I've found a new love for it. Travelling Star is the name of the tune, and that's where I got my title. She told me she loved me like it was true. I knew I should stay, I knew I would go. It's easy to be a rover (in the travelling away from relationships sense) when you have little to no trust in people appearing as they really are. It's a lot easier to just move on with your life and live it rather than working on a relationship that isn't really helping you.

The other song I would have used but didn't was from Airplay. Nothing You Can Do About It. Excellent song. Just relax and enjoy the ride! 

In other news, I've decided that should a certain number of things fall into place again, I'll be taking up YPP again.  Not in the same way I played it before certainly as that was too much time spent.  I will however start doing the things I liked doing on the game in a more limited fashion.  Pretty interesting, I thought I would really be happy about returning to the game and all geared up, but it's more like going back to see an old friend that you've been comfortable with, and have no expectations about any longer.   

I'm this close (holds up fingers that are close together) to starting up posting again.  Just close enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I've hitched a lift on a lorry and I'll be back before the end of the universe.
